Bingo Beat- The Month of January

Game Day- DIFD Night at SBP

After a disappointing overtime loss at the hands of the New York Islanders last night, the Sens are right back at it against their provincial rivals tonight. It will be a playoff type atmosphere at Scotiabank Place tonight as two teams in the thick of the Eastern Conference playoff race meet with a huge two points on the line.  Craig Anderson will start in the Ottawa goal.

Game Day- Sens Host Isles at SBP

The suddenly slumping Ottawa Senators will play their first game at home since January 16  when they host the New York Islanders. The Sens have dropped four straight, including three out West before the NHL All Star Break.  On Tuesday, they let a two goal lead slip away at the hands of the power house Bruins.  They’ll be looking to get back on track at SBP.

Anderson Starts vs. NYI, Trade Deadline Approaches

It’s strange to label a game a must-win in early February but Friday night’s tilt with the Islanders has that feel to it. The Ottawa Senators have dropped four straight games and have watched while the teams behind them continue to close the gap.  Add to that the fact that the Sens have played more games than anyone around them and you can see why two points on Friday is huge.

SensChirp Event at Local Heroes

I've been talking about it all week but I figured it was time to give this thing it's own post. On Friday night, SensChirp and Local Heroes have teamed up for the first ever SensChirp Event.  We'll all be meeting up at the Local Heroes on Clyde and then heading out to watch the Senators take on the New York Islanders.
