Game Day- Lehner Starts, Smith Scratched

Written by SensChirp
After a flat performance on Friday night against the Chicago Blackhawks, the Ottawa Senators hope a trip down South will help the team get back on track. First up for Paul MacLean's group are the Southeast leading Florida Panthers at the Bank Atlantic Center.  Both the Sens and the Panthers are in the thick of the East playoff race meaning it will be a huge two points on the line tonight.

The Ottawa Senators came out flat last night on home ice and the end result was a disappointing 2-1 loss at the hands of Chicago Blackhawks. Game Day- Emery Returns to Ottawa

Written by SensChirp
After a day of discussing provincial tax policy and potential nick names for a goalie that has played three games this season, fans of the Ottawa Senators can finally get back to talking about hockey. Coming off a big win over the Boston Bruins on Tuesday night, the Sens return to action tonight when they host former Senators Ray Emery and Marian Hossa and the rest of the Chicago Blackhawks in a battle of two 6th place teams at Scotiabank Place.

SensChirp Event at Locals (Update from Practice)

Written by SensChirp
I have mentioned it a couple times at the bottom of blogs but I think it's time to give this event it's own post. On Friday night, SensChirp and Local Heroes on Clyde have teamed up to bring you a great chance to see your Ottawa Senators take on an original six team in the Chicago Blackhawks. What better way to spend a Friday night than with some great food, conversation with other fans and an opportunity to watch our Sens live at Scotiabank Place.

#Lehnsanity- Lehner Blanks Bruins

Written by SensChirp
This was a game that had a playoff feel from the moment the puck dropped at TD Garden. And the Ottawa Senators responded to the pressure.  Lehner turned aside all 32 shots he faced for his first career shutout and the Sens played one of their best team games of the season, scoring a tight 1-0 win over the defending champs.
