I would say he has returned back to europe to play..didn't find much on this guy. Wick signed a 3-year contract to return to Kloten in July 2011. Wick is still playing in the Swiss A this year. He played for Kloten last year, 34 games, 11 goals and 21 points, I think he got injured at some point, but they don't put too much info on the web about that. Not too shabby, but nowhere close to his totals when playing for them between 06-07 and 09-10. Although this year he's playing for Zurich and in 9 games he has 3 goals and 7 points, which is a 3 way tie in points for the club. I was pretty impressed with his Bingo stats from 2010-11 with 20 goals and 42 points. It's too bad he couldn't have stayed here, but then again, he's getting much more ice time and top line minutes, which he more than likely wouldn't get on our roster today.

I may be posting on here a lot today as I'm stuck at work. But I was just going over the 6-3 win Bingo completed over the Devils on Saturday night. I expected a post already but it is a holiday, lol Cowick, Grant, Hoffman, Petersson, Stone and Benoit each potted a goal, great to see such a variety of players scoring right now. We put a total of 44 shots on net, now that's saying something. Lehner turned aside 25 of 28 for the W. But lost in the celebration was the fact that former Sen Butler notched a goal for the Devils. Good to see he's getting some playing time in the A. Still think he would have been a good fit in Bingo this year, but then again, we are somewhat stacked in the forward dept. Bingo kicks off the opener this Saturday, I'll be out of town so I won't get a chance to hear it. Anyone know what the Penguins are supposed to look like this year?

Well Bingo is off to a good pre-season start, waiting to hear about the cuts that are coming. Looking forward to seeing the final roster and how they fair when the season kicks off. I am still interested in attending a game or two, who is planning a trip? Chirp, any ideas for an early bus trip? What's the word on Silfverberg? Not a good start for the 67's with only 1 win in 6 games. If you want to focus on some positive things Ceci's 7 points and +4 in 6 games is a good sign of things to come. And well, we all know Sean Monahan would be leading the charge, 10 points is great but the -7 needs to be looked at. I still see him falling into 3rd overall in the draft. However, all the points in the world won't help them if they keep playing such a lack luster defensive game. Yes they have offense and we've seen it with 24 goals in 6 games, but with a goals against of 26 the odds are you won't win games even if you are scoring 4 goals a night. You don't need goals to win games, just look at Belleville. All I'm saying is these guys need to tighten up the defensive side a little and maybe rush a little less if possible and we'll start seeing more W's on the board. Hope everyone is enjoying the long weekend.

Sandy, not much. Just got back from the game. More precautionary than anything. Tonight was to figure out the last line i believe. Team really played not to get hurt tonight. Could have finished checks a bit better. Lehner let a few softies in inmho. Not a big deal though. I know a few people on this board are blinded by the word "prospect" but what a difference a Benoit/Eckford makes to the lineup. Missed last year. Benoit got the biggest props tonight. Don't know too much about Eckford. Are you at the games on the 19th & 20th? I'm in section 8 row BB for the 19th.. and sec 22 row DD for the 20th. Watched the B-Sens stream tonight.. at the same time as watching the 67's and the same time drinking too much wine.. Someone mentioned on the blogs during the stream of the B-Sens game, that Silfverberg has a groin injury. I really hoped he is healed in 2 weeks... My plan was to see him play in Bingo.. I'll be disappointed if he is not in the lineup. Timwrx... any updates on injuries?

I will be surprised if Pageau beats out Da Costa or Cannone for either top 6 centre spot. My guess is that he will be returned to junior along with Prince, both have some filling out to do, even if the NHL returns soon. They have too many players & could send more than ten players to Elmira, I don't think Ottawa has ever had that many good prospects before. And next yr they will have a bunch of new good prospects as well with Pageau, Prince returning along with Puempel, Noesen, Fransoo, Sdao, Wikstrand & others plus Andrej Sustre if they are able to sign him after his college yr. Things are really looking good for the organization & it's depth. In fact, they have enough good young talent to make some interesting deals in the way of either trading for NHL talent, acquiring more picks or moving down in the 2013 draft to acquire more top ten talent.

I don't think Greening is in jeporady of losing his job since he's already a machine in workouts and getting in game shape plus his tools of being that big and quick is a very good asset for the organization, he is very versatile and could be put anywhere in the lineup, coaches love those players. However the players that would likely lose their job to the prospects whether its this year or next is Condra and Daugavins, both are smallish forwards with very limited offense. I mean Condra has the hockey sense to play in the league but has the hands of a goat, his hockey sense and smarts gave him all those break aways but he always got stoned. Daugavins is a good locker room guy but I would rather have Hoffman develop in that line than have him.

very exciting developments in Bingo. I said it before and I will say it again, a few of our NHL player sitting out in this lockout wil be paying the ultimate price with their jobs this year, if it continues. Guys like Zibby, Hoffman, Silfver, will prove NHL ready, and guys like Condra, Greening will be left expendable, and may even end up in the unemplyed line like Winchester. Wake up boys, the Crosby's Stamkos' of the world will not miss a beat when things are restored, while he middle of the pack players will go the way of he dodo birds.

So excited for the B-Sens this season... Disappointed there was no stream last night... Saw this comment in the Ottawa Sun this morning.. Makes me scratch my head... --------------- - The NHL players know they're in a battle they don't expect to win but they aren't ready to wave the white towel. Washington Capitals defenceman Karl Alzner told CSNWashington.c om the players will get the short end of the stick in negotiations for a collective bargaining agreement but they're trying to minimize their losses before the fight is over. "We know we're going to have to take a hit," Alzner told the website Friday. "It's just how big of a hit we need to take. "I think both sides know what their next proposal is, it's just who wants to give it first. The owners know what their bottom percentage is and I'm sure Don (Fehr, union head) knows what's going to be a good one for us economically. "But who's going to be the first one to bite the bullet? No one wants to lose the negotiation. We understand we're definitely not going to win it." ----------- Unbelievable... Go B-Sens...

The great thing is that Bingo will have great defense too with Cowen, Borowiecki, Eckford, Benoit, Wiercioch, and Gryba/Claesson. Add that with the offense provided by Z-bad, Silfverberg, Stone, Hoffman, Pageau, Da Costa, Prince, and Petersson, we coud be icing a very dangerous lineup this year. I have a feeling, much like Ottawa last year, teams aren't going to be looking forward to playing the B-Sens.

It's easy to overlook pageau and even Hoffman with some of our more high profile picks being watched so closely. Here's hoping we don't have to let any of these talented assets walk away simply due to a lack of space for them. The quantity for quality scenario suggested by the Murray's looks like a very real possibility at some point if the return is right. Definitely an exciting time to watch our youth develop. Lets hope the NHL and NHLPA surprise everyone and get this circus back on track.
