I'd be fine with replacement players. I cheer for the Ottawa Senators organization, the players are bascially point and assist totals with stories padded through media and blogs. If I can get cheap NHL hockey, I'll pay for it...

Just thought it would provide us with some hockey to watch, something to talk about, memories to ponder, and some trash talking as I'm sure some will do! BTW - in case anyone is wondering, I won't be back to post anything until 2 weeks from today, and will only be online for 1 hour - in that hour, I will choose to simply stare at the screen and do nothing... Learn from best I say!

Chrip - side note. In lieu of no hockey and lack of anything exciting, perhaps we could have a day where viewers can post their favourite Sens videos? Such as Philly brawl? EK65's first goal in Finland? Chara using Mcabe as a rag doll?

But where would they play? Owners, like the Sens that don't make much money unless they make the playoffs are not really going to hurt with the lockout. The player's got to get it together and just SIGN!! They are not going to beat the owners and WTF they don't need too. Hope their union fees are not too high 'cause they would be better off without one,IMO.

Sounds like Spezza might be in limbo as well. He is 3 games in with the Lakers and has put up no points with a -2 rating... I know there will be kinks but let's hope others have similar fates and realize they prefer playing in the NHL.

You know what we should stop with the CBA news and just concentrate on the AHL. If Sportsnet or one of the mjor networks could give me 40 baby SENS games I could easily do without the NHL. I understand the owners side - Revenues skyrocketed much faster than they ever imagined and they want back percentages of a bad deal for them. The players gave back last time but in the 7-8 years their salaries have doubled. So stop crying and make the concession - players already. What a bunch of ass wipes. The owners risk their money not the players.

Any updates on how are big three have looked so far? Stone, Silfverberg and zbad? I think I feel most bad for O'Brien. After being a first rounder and finally working himself into the mix, his window is likely fairly small to get paid. The players that are bubble players get hurt the most by this whereas the stars collect interest on their millions while getting another paycheck oversees. Totally a shame...
