Leafs went 3-2-0-1 = 7 pts Sabres went 3-3-0-0 = 6 pts Do you guys know how to add? Anyone else? Me > Hockey gods I suppose then Yeah I have no clue where these people are getting their info.. Wins have always been the first breaker, always... Now SO wins don't count towards your tie breaker wins.. Goal differential is always last resort... It's hilarious that you had two people tell you that you were wrong though...

Wacey Hamilton with 1G 1A for Medicine Hat. Also, Gabriel Landeskog (1G -3 tonight) eliminated from the playoffs in Game 7. Maybe that means his draft stock will drop? Ya, I know, wishful thinking. But you never know...

Actually no, I'm right. The rules is listed below * The fewer number of games played (i.e., superior points percentage). * The greater number of games won, excluding games won in the Shootout (NEW for 2010-11). This figure is reflected in the ROW column. * The greater number of points earned in games between the tied clubs. If two clubs are tied, and have not played an equal number of home games against each other, points earned in the first game played in the city that had the extra game shall not be included. If more than two clubs are tied, the higher percentage of available points earned in games among those clubs, and not including any "odd" games, shall be used to determine the standing. * The greater differential between goals for and against for the entire regular season.

You hit the nail on the head, Chirp. I too feel like this is the first of Alfie's injuries where I've actually questioned his comeback ability. Not just that, but it seems this issue has dogged him for some time. He's not getting any younger and although I've heard he's a fitness nut, I imagine he'll be more susceptible to re-injury. It would be a shame to see Alfie go out with a whimper, not a bang, but we all knew he wasn't getting another crack at a cup anyway, so I'm not as concerned about the number of seasons he stays on a rebuilding roster for. Will be a sad day in Senstown when he hangs up the skates.
