It may be the Rookie Tournament but there will still be plenty of reasons to tune in when the Sens take on the Leafs in Oshawa tonight art 7:00 PM.

Both teams have deep prospect pools and they'll be on display tonight in the final game of this year's Rookie Tournament.  With both team's rebuilding, the future is definitely bright in the Battle of Ontario.

The Ottawa Senators rookies continued their winning ways and improved their record to 2-0 with a 6-5 win over the rookies from the Chicago Blackhawks.

The Sens will now close out the tournament on Tuesday night against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

It may not have been the big team but after a long off season, it was nice to finally see a team take the ice in Ottawa Senators jerseys.

The rookies did not disappoint as they handled the Penguins rookies with ease, winning 4-0 in the first game of this year's Rookie Tournament being played in Oshawa, Ontario.

With the new NHL season just around the corner, the Ottawa Senators continue to work to improve the in-game experience for their loyal fans.

This morning, the club announced a number of new additions to Scotiabank Place including the Official Egg Roll of SBP.

(UPDATE 5:31 PM)- Bruce Garrioch has quoted Asst GM Tim Murray saying that Regin is fine and will be good to go for the main camp.  Our first non-story of the 2011/2012 season!

For the second straight season, the Ottawa Senators have been hit by a preseason injury.  According to a report in the Ottawa Sun, Sens forward Peter Regin injured his ankle in a pick up soccer game.

I want to start by thanking everyone that took the time to send in an entry.

I had a great time reading through all the submissions and it definitely brought back some awesome memories for me.  I have sorted through more than 100 entries and narrowed it down to these eight finalists. 

In just 41 short days, the Ottawa Senators will play their home opener against Dany Heatley and the Minnesota Wild.
