It may not be the NHL playoffs but you have to admire the fight this Binghamton team is showing. Last night they scored a dramatic double overtime win with Lehner stopping 51 of the 52 shots he faced. It was the second straight overtime win for Bingo.
Defenceman Geoff Kinrade scored the OT winner.
Corey Locke, the team's leading scorer, will not be in the line up for the deciding game. Sounds like he could return in the second round if the BSens can find a way to pull out a win tonight.
GO BSENS GO!
Oh and I know I haven't really offered up much on the NHL playoffs but that goal Bobby Ryan scored last night has to go down as one of the best in playoff history. You can check it out on the highlights tab on the home page.
Poor, poor David Legwand.
Happy Easter weekend, everyone!
Any idea whats up with all the bingo d-men? I new Gryba was hurt before the playoffs...but whats happened to the rest of them?
5 D for 5 periods last night (1 of whom, Boroweiki didn't play much) doesn't bode well for tonight...
Thanks for reading.
Hey dude, can you post a link to your blog site so everyone can see how awesome your posts are?
Yea they have been hit by injuries hard. Not sure about David Hale though. Really thought he would be back with the team by now.
Fatigue will almost certainly be a factor tonight.
Glad to see this blog is working again... I could not get into the last one.
The pressure is now with Manchester. Let's hope these young guys keep their legs going.
Lehner should be the 'more rested' goalie as he has only played 2 games in this series. What would have been if he had of played more.
Hoping for a win and a road trip.
Who took a leak in your cornflakes this morning?
Regardless, I will cheer for the series to go 7 so that I can be entertained longer.
The guy got deked out of his stick. His moves were deking both Legwand and Rinne at the same time. It was a thing of beauty. Also he knocked down the initial pass to start the rush. You have to appreciate the effort and skill level shown by Ryan.
What was so awesome about the goal? You're kidding right. It was one of the best one on one's I've ever seen.
@riceroni. If Nashville wins the series we get their 3rd round pick next year (Fisher trade). Great series.
SC - go BSens. Any news on coaching candidates? And let's not forget the Spokane Chiefs and Jared Cowen. He's having a great series and now they're moving on.
uhhhh nothing, thats was a normal goal, players score hundreds of goals like that every game....
when I'm playing my playstation!
No problem, didn't take long.
But if Nashville wins, we gain a 3rd rounder. better first, or a whole new draft pick, now thats even more of a dilemma
GO BSENS GO!
So is Wacey Hamilton.... Medicine Hat.
I see what you're saying, and you DID predict that production would go down Vs. tougher opponents. Not exactly Prophetic, but a valid point.
My only counter is that its hard for ANY player to put up points 10 games in a row... especially in the playoffs, no matter who the opponent is.
Let's wait and see. maybe he gets 4 points in the next game and his P/G remains intact.
Looks like TheTyrantWeeBra in is posting under another handle, that's how stupid this comment was.
If you don't like it, move on Wee Troll.
Sick move by Ryan, love the playoff highlights.
Go BSens Go!!! Wish the game was on tv tonight.
Were you expecting a game wrap up to go down in the English literature canon?
It's not Chirp's fault the Sens aren't in the playoffs!!!
good training for him.
go Lehner.
True... but he has been under pressure the last 2 games as the B-Sens faced elimination both those nights.
I think the pressure to win now is on the other side.
B-Sens are playing short-handed without 3 regular D and their best forward.
Let's hope Lehner can bring his "A" game tonight again.
I'm sure the team is tired.. some of those 'rookies' have not played this much hockey in a year... let's hope they keep those young legs going.
Bury them guys. Don't blow this lead.
GO BSENS GO!
Good pickup by Murray in the Campoli trade. Now if he can translate that to the NHL.
It took him some time to get use to his teammates and the system.. but as we can see -- it is certainly paying off.
this series is ridiculous
I think I jynx this one unfortunately.

No comeback this time with Lehner in nets!"
Sorry guys...
You mean 2?
5-5 going to OT...AGAIN! This has got to be the most exciting playoff series ever!
The Sens have got to be in the heads of the Monarch's going into the 3rd straight OT.
Huberdeau 22 points 11 games 2nd overall.
Just stats though - we all know the OHL is such a tougher league to rack up points in. For sure the OHL champ will win the Memorial Cup this year. Better league.
RYAN POTULNY!!!
What a playoff. He filled in pretty nicely for Locke.
Now to get Locke back to play with Greening & Butler.. and with Potulny line... that will be two great threats to score.
Who's up next?
Road Trip.
Anyone else notice that everything that Murray has touched since the beginning of the "rebuilt" had been successful!? Think about it...Anderson, Svatos, Potulny, all of our BSENS callups and even McBackup played well down the stretch!
Could be a rough day for Kings fans as well. Monarchs evaporate and the Kings could follow...not that I'm hoping for the aforementioned.
